Where to start

Join us at the UIC Open House and view our stunning Chicago skyline—it’s just the beginning of what we have to offer! With over 50 unique sessions, there's plenty to explore and learn. To get the most out of your day, follow these pro tips:

  1. Plan to start at Student Center East (SCE). Look for UIC check-in stations around campus. Get basic info at these stations.

  2. Copies of the Open House 2024 event guide will be distributed at check-in.
  3. Go social. Follow @apply2uic on Instagram. We'll be posting live reminders and play-by-plays. Share your UIC Open House experience using the hashtag #UICOH for UIC merch.

What to bring

  1. Make your Check-in a Breeze. Bring your printed confirmation email with your QR code registration.
  2. Plan for Academics and Fun. All sorts of ongoing activities will be open to everyone on campus!
  3. Prepare to move. Most of the Open House will take place north of Roosevelt Road, south of Van Buren, and between Halsted and Morgan, but that is a lot of area to travel. We recommend comfortable shoes. Let us know if you need accommodations as early as possible.
